National Rural Planning Conference
A Time of Change for Rural Places
The publication of the new National Planning Policy Framework makes this year’s National Rural Planning Conference particularly timely. With the new decision-making policies taking immediate effect, the conference will help those working across farming, land, development and the rural economy understand the changes and consider what they may mean in practice.
Under the theme A Time of Change for Rural Places, the day will explore rural planning policy, recent planning disputes, diversification, care farming, renewables, strategic planning and the future of farming. Delegates will also have the opportunity to work through real rural planning scenarios during a practical session.
Speakers include Baroness Minette Batters, Andrew Brown JP FPSAg, Fred Quartermain ASAg, Sioned Davies, Ursula Bryars, Tony Kernon FASAg, Dr Matt Home, and Holly Hoban.
The conference is open to members and non-members, with block booking discounts available for organisations wishing to bring several colleagues.
