A review of current rural planning issues, policy developments and practical considerations affecting rural businesses, landowners and the wider agricultural sector.

Guest Speakers:

Sara Tucker, North and Letherby
is a Chartered Surveyor and a Fellow and Advisor with the Society of Agriculture.
Sara specialises in rural planning matters and has extensive experience in preparing and managing planning applications for rural workers’ dwellings (new farmhouses and temporary log cabins / mobile homes), a wide range of new farm buildings, nurseries, barn conversions, equestrian development, kennels, and other changes of use and farm diversification projects. Sara has gained Certificates of Lawfulness for clients and has assisted with Enforcement issues. She has worked across much of England and Wales, for farmers, landowners and on behalf of local planning authorities.

Being chaired by Tanya Arnold, BBC Presenter

Tanya is an experienced presenter and reporter across TV and Radio both locally and nationally.  For many years she was the sports reporter for the  BBC in Yorkshire, one of the first women to have an on-screen role in sport.  She’s gone on to present Rugby League for the BBC, the highlight being the World Cup held in England in 2022. She’s also reported on 2 Olympic Games and a Commonwealth Games as well as other countless big sporting occasions.
