INTRODUCTION
British farming is faced with a complex mix of modern-day challenges owing to climate change and environmental degradation, Brexit and changes in subsidy structures, financial pressures, an ageing workforce, just to name a few. Now more than ever, there is an urgent need to create a more sustainable, resilient and equitable food system which backs British produce, fosters innovation and protects the environment.
