Alex is a Senior Environment Officer with the Environment Agency in Yorkshire and is passionate about farming, the environment, and supporting rural youth voice and leadership.

Having grown up on a small grassland farm in County Durham, agriculture and rural communities have always played an important role in Alex’s life. Alongside this professional role, Alex currently serves as Vice Chair of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs, having previously held the positions of County Chair of the County Durham Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs and National Senior Member of the Year.
