Published on March 13th, 2026

The Society of Agriculture has released the latest Farm Managers Salary Survey, providing one of the UK’s longest-running insights into the roles, responsibilities and rewards of salaried farm managers across the United Kingdom.

The launch of the report coincides with coverage in this week’s edition of Farmers Weekly, highlighting the survey’s continued relevance to the agricultural sector.

The 2026 findings show that the average annual salary for UK farm managers has reached £67,605, representing a 13.3% increase compared with the previous survey period. The results also reflect the increasing scale of farm businesses, with 19% of farm managers now responsible for more than 3,000 hectares.
