The Society of Agriculture is working with the Ecosystems Knowledge Network (EKN) to promote a new series of practical training courses designed to help land managers understand the opportunities presented by nature markets.
The one-day, in-person courses are for farm managers, estate managers and other rural land management professionals looking to explore emerging nature markets and what they could mean for their businesses. The training will provide an interactive introduction to the sector, alongside independent expert guidance on topics including woodland carbon, Biodiversity Net Gain and nutrient mitigation.
Training will be led by Kate Russell, Chief Operating Officer at Tellus Natural Capital, who has extensive experience advising rural professionals on generating income through the delivery of environmental outcomes.
