Society of Agriculture Holds First AGM and Announces Ambitious Programme for 2026-27

The Society of Agriculture has marked an important milestone with its first Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on 4 September 2026, reflecting on progress since its launch at the beginning of the year and outlining an extensive programme of professional development, leadership training and sector engagement for the months ahead.

Since its establishment on 1 January 2026, the Society has focused on building opportunities for learning and professional development, strengthening partnerships across the agricultural and rural sectors, and laying foundations for its future work in support of farming, food production and land management.
