As a Licensed Member of the Society for the Environment, the Society of Agriculture plays an active role in helping shape discussions around the future of environmental professionalism, while providing eligible members with a route to Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) status.
The Society for the Environment (SocEnv) has set out its Strategy to 2045, with a vision of “a sustainable future, shaped by trusted environmental professionalism.” The strategy focuses on increasing recognition of professional registration, strengthening influence with policymakers and regulators, and growing and diversifying the community of registered environmental professionals.
As a Licensed Member of SocEnv, the Society of Agriculture contributes to the discussions and sessions that help inform and deliver this work, ensuring that the perspective of agriculture and the rural sector is represented.
