The Society of Agriculture (SocAg) is working with Farm Carbon Toolkit (FCT) to promote new professional training in farm greenhouse gas (GHG) assessment.
Farm Carbon Toolkit has launched Farm Carbon Training, an on-demand course designed for farm advisors, consultants and other professionals involved in carbon assessment and sustainability reporting.
The six-hour module, “Using greenhouse gas assessment tools for farm businesses,” covers principles of measurement, practical data collection, interpretation of results and development of mitigation plans. The training is tool-agnostic and aims to provide guidance applicable across the range of carbon footprinting tools currently in use.
