The second Future Landscape Conference will take place at SRUC’s Barony Campus on Friday 16th October 2026, bringing together people from across the rural, agricultural, environmental and land-based sectors to explore how greater collaboration can help build more resilient landscapes for the future.
Hosted by SRUC’s School of Natural and Social Sciences, this year’s conference is themed “Innovation in Integration: Building resilient futures through collaboration” and aims to represent the broad spectrum of our landscapes – from sea to sky and everything in between.
The day will provide an opportunity to hear new research, examine practical case studies and consider where stronger links between professions, industries and communities can help address some of the complex challenges facing land use.
