National Rural Planning Conference returns this October

Published on August 17th, 2026

The National Rural Planning Conference returns on Thursday the 1st of October 2026 at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire, bringing rural professionals together to examine the changes, challenges and opportunities shaping rural places.

Previously known as the BIAC Rural Planning Conference, the event now sits under the Society of Agriculture following the merger of BIAC and IAgrM. While the name has changed, it remains the established rural planning conference familiar to professionals from across the sector.

Under this year’s theme, ‘A Time of Change for Rural Places’, the conference will explore a wide range of issues affecting those working with rural businesses, landowners and communities.
