Adrian Cannon FSAg, of Tayler & Fletcher, was delighted to represent the Society of Agriculture at the Royal Agricultural University’s (RAU) careers day, where more than 25 students joined the Society through our free Student Membership offer.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with aspiring professionals and discuss the opportunities available across the agricultural, environmental and rural business sectors. The Society welcomes student members aged 16+ who are studying agriculture, rural business, environmental or land-based subjects.
Students explored how professional membership can support them as they move from education into employment and throughout their careers. Discussions focused on the importance of professionalism within modern agriculture and the value of building strong networks across the sector. The Society brings together farmers, consultants, advisers, landowners, rural businesses, environmental specialists and industry leaders, creating opportunities for members to develop valuable connections from the very start of their careers.
