Biography

I am a Rural Business Adviser working with my clients to help drive efficiencies, creating sustainable, innovative, long-lasting rural businesses through effective business management, investment and R&D, delivered through the utilisation of both private- and public-funded grants/schemes and effective project management. I am also a recent graduate of BSc (Hons) Agriculture with Farm Business Management at Harper Adams University, for which I received a First Class Honours and the Morrisons Sustainability Prize for my dissertation titled "An evaluation of the uptake and utilisation of precision livestock farming technologies on British dairy farms".

My experience in agriculture comes largely from my formative years growing up and working on my home beef and sheep farming business in Laxey, Isle of Man. It is this time on my home farm which sparked my passion for British agriculture, and what inspired my career ambition of becoming a farm business consultant following my graduation: I hope to be able to be able to give rural businesses professional aid through the inevitably turbulent and challenging times ahead in the Agriculture industry, and help move Agriculture forward into a stronger position.
