DJM Consulting is a dynamic rural business consultancy looking for full-time Rural Business Consultant with a minimum of 2 years experience, ideally more, to focus on providing strategic advice to our clients.
The Role
- Supporting clients with business decisions and with new/existing schemes
- Conducting strategic business reviews
- Producing budgets, cashflows and reports
- Delivering strategic advice under government and national organisation schemes
- Developing your own specialist area, taking ownership of this and making the role your own
- Helping with marketing, business development and sales to prospective clients
- As we are a small team, we all need to be flexible in the work that is done
About You
- Take initiative and responsibility
- Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, ideally with understanding of accounting and budgeting principles
- Strategic thinker with knowledge of and enthusiasm for farming and rural matters
- Good communication skills and a methodical approach to problem solving
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
