Pig sector invited to shape future supply chain regulation through new survey

Published on June 26th, 2026

The Agricultural Supply Chain Adjudicator (ASCA) is encouraging everyone involved in the UK pig sector to take part in a new survey aimed at improving fairness, transparency, and confidence across the supply chain.

The survey is open to pig producers, processors, representative organisations, and others working within the industry. It seeks views on the current challenges facing the sector, awareness of the Fair Dealing Obligations (Pigs) Regulations 2025 and experiences of commercial relationships across the supply chain.

Feedback will help ASCA understand how the regulations are operating in practice, identify where further guidance or engagement may be needed and inform discussions with Defra on future policy development. The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and closes on 27th July 2026.
