Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction of Agricultural and Environmental Studies, delivering a forward-thinking vision aligned to evolving industry needs
- Develop and sustain impactful partnerships with employers, industry bodies, and key stakeholders to inform curriculum design and enhance real-world relevance
- Oversee curriculum delivery and commercial provision, driving growth, innovation, and long-term financial sustainability
- Inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and succession planning
- Champion excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment, improving student engagement, progression, and achievement outcomes
Skills you will need:
Essential:
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in a land based related sector
- Experience in curriculum delivery, teaching, or assessment within education
- Proven experience leading change and managing teams
- The ability to inspire and drive performance and continuous improvement
- Strong sector knowledge within agriculture and environmental studies
- An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong people management skills
- Highly organised with excellent problem solving skills
- Highly collaborative and team focussed
- Passionate and committed to student success
- Strong computer and IT skills
Desirable:
- Leadership qualification
- Masters degree or PhD
