The Society of Agriculture is pleased to confirm that it continues to be represented in ongoing discussions with DEFRA and the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) through the Combined Forum.
Recent discussions have included the planned rollout of SFI 26, the Countryside Stewardship (CS) capital scheme, and early conversations regarding how both the revenue and capital schemes may evolve from 2027 onwards.
Due to the confidential nature of these discussions, detailed information cannot currently be shared more widely. However, members can be assured that the Society’s interests, and those of its membership, are being represented appropriately by Peter Walker FASg and David Meredith FASg.
