John is Chief Agricultural Officer for AF (Anglia Farmers), where he delivers strategic leadership to the crop inputs and livestock inputs procurement teams.

He brings over 30 years hands-on farming experience from his previous role as Farms Director for Sentry and is BASIS, FACTS, and BETA qualified.

As well as Norfolk Chair for the Society of Agriculture, he is a trustee of Norfolk FWAG and he chaired the stakeholder group for Agri-TechE for 5 years.

In 2020 he formed the Waveney, Water & Woodlands cluster group, covering 11,000+ hectares.

He’s also completed the Worshipful Company of Farmers ‘Challenge of Rural Leadership’ course in 2003.
