“Runs Tim Brigstocke Associates, a farm livestock consultancy specialising in expert witness work. He is involved in a whole host of other land based organisations, notably as Executive Director, Cattle Health Certification Standards (CHECS) and Treasurer for the RUMA Alliance, a cross industry initiative to promote the responsible use of medicines in agriculture. He is a past Chairman of the Institute of Agricultural Management.

A Trustee for the Society of the Environment and has recently stood down as a Trustee of the Royal Society of Biology. He chairs the National Equine Forum and the British Horse Council twice yearly industry meetings.

Tim has recently retired as Policy Director for the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers after some 30 years and has just finished a 10 year term as Chair of the UK Governments Genetics for Livestock and Equine Expert Advisory Committee (UKGLE).

He previously held Senior Management positions within Unilever, the Government’s Research Service and was CEO for Holstein UK and Ireland, the largest independent cattle breed society in the world”.
