For more than twenty years, RuSource provided early-morning weekly briefings to rural clergy, farmers, rural professionals and communities. Established by the Revd Gordon Gatward and Alan Spedding at the Arthur Rank Centre, the reach grew and became a valued source of concise, informed commentary on rural affairs.
When the Society of Agriculture began developing The Source, it was always intended that RuSource would, in time, fold into this new publication. The aim was to build on RuSource’s strengths while placing it within a wider professional framework, drawing on the Society’s breadth of expertise across agriculture and the rural sector.
That transition has now taken place.
