Biography

A chartered marketer with 25 years as a marketing professional within large corporates with a key specialism in agricultural, rural and food chain marketing.

Trustee of the Global Federation of Agricultural Journalists and an advisor to the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists' Council. A graduate of the Windsor Leadership Programme, the Institute of Agricultural Management Leadership Development Programme and Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership Programme, Waitangi Scholar. FRAgS, FCIM, FRSA, FBGAJ.

I set up my own marketing communications and public affairs agency at the end of 2003 and clients include ABP Food Group, BASF plc, Farmstrong Scotland, Knight Frank Rural, QMS, The Oxford Farming Conference, Scottish Agronomy, SQC, Scottish Enterprise. I have a particular strength in inspiring clients to take a innovative approach to their marketing both in mindset and in actions. My passion lies in what creative storytelling can do to achieve business goals, how it can change behaviours and how it can inspire if done well.

My goal is to work with companies that have the energy and drive to inject their marketing with renewed vigour, in a way that engages the whole of their organisation and wakes up their competition!
