The Andersons Centre has announced the return of its flagship Andersons Seminars for 2026, with a comprehensive programme focused on the prospects for UK agriculture at a time of continued policy change and economic uncertainty.

Now in their 29th year, the seminars are well established as a key fixture in the agricultural calendar, offering an in-depth overview of the farming industry and its future direction. The 2026 programme will examine profitability, policy, trade, and diversification, alongside detailed sectoral analysis across arable and livestock farming.

The seminar agenda begins with an assessment of UK farming profitability and performance, exploring current returns, competitiveness, productivity, and the capital position of agriculture, including land price trends and links to the wider economy. This is followed by an update on farm policy and trade, covering developments in UK–EU relations, progress with the Agricultural Transition, including Environmental Land Management (ELM) and the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), and changes to support schemes across the devolved nations.
